Infant/Toddler
The North Texas Montessori Institute’s Infant/Toddler Course runs from June 2026 to May 2027 and offers a comprehensive study of Montessori philosophy and pedagogy for children ages birth to three.
Through lectures, projects, material making, and classroom observations, adult learners develop the knowledge and skills to create nurturing environments that support child development and community connections. This is a MACTE-accredited and AMS-affiliated course.

Academic Classes
June 4 – July 15, 2026
Online Classes: June 4-16 and June 29-July 15
In-Residence Classes*: June 17-26
*In-Residence classes are held at Starwood Academy of Frisco
Practicum
August 2026 – May 2027
The practicum (student teaching) is a required component of the program. Adult learners complete nine consecutive months in a classroom setting, a minimum of five days per week and three hours per day, in alignment with AMS and MACTE standards.
Two required online seminars (fall and spring) are held during the practicum. Each seminar is a two-day session from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Application Fee: $200 (waived for applications submitted before March 31, 2026)

*Adult learners should plan for approximately $500 in additional books and supplies for album and material-making.
